2025 Annual Estimate of Giving

During November, we have taken time each week to celebrate a different aspect of First Lutheran's heritage. Survivors of Torture, the Third Ave Charitable Organization (TACO), the Living Body of Christ, and this Sunday's Christ the King make First Lutheran such a special place. 

All the generations who came before us here at First Lutheran paved the way for the daily dynamic ministry displayed here. Their generous giving allows us to continue the legacy of justice, reconciliation, care for creation, and the daily care we offer to those who have found themselves on society's margins. Our generous giving ensures that this legacy will continue and thrive now and in the future. 

Thank you for filling out an Estimate of Giving Card and returning it to church. Thank you for considering a stretch in your giving. Thank you for bringing your Card to church, placing it on the altar, and once again allowing Christ to be the relationship in your life that rises above all others, which claims your allegiance and makes all your other relationships rich beyond imagination.

ELCA Good Gifts Tree

Donate livestock and other supplies to families around the world

When you come to church youll see our Good Gifts Tree in the lounge. On the table are various ornaments representing different gifts you may purchase for a family in need in different parts of the world. Goats, Piglets, Cows, School Supplies, Roosters, Bees, area all available to give. There are lots of options. There is a church copy of the catalog in the basket. 
 
You may also consider purchasing a gift in someone else's name. On the table there are holiday cards for you to take so you can let your beloved recipient know what youve given in their name. Last year my sister and brother in-law gifted two goats in my name which are providing milk for someone somewhere in the world. I give thanks for that. 
 
Please choose a gift and make your donation through Tithely. The QR code posted on the wall will take you there. Choose "ELCA Good Gifts" from the drop-down menu, and note what you are purchasing in the memo area. Checks or cash should be left in the plate. Grab an envelope and label it "Good Gifts" and note what you are purchasing. Then hang an ornament on the tree that represents your gift. Help us decorate or Good Gifts Tree.
